The QLS - Qian Long System was designed and developed by Master Marc Oggier, who has been a martial artist for over 35 years.
Master Marc Oggier received the master title Qian Long from Grandmaster Xinhua Zhu, with the meaning and qualities of the highest Yang in the I Ching and symbolizes the creative, the clarity and strength. With the great honour to become independent and to develop further.
With over 38 years of experience in martial arts and self-defense, he brings extensive knowledge and unique expertise. As part of a martial arts family – paternal side Karate and Judo and great-uncle as an amateur/professional boxer – our head coach discovered the world of martial arts at the age of 5 and has been training continuously since then. 15 years ago, he developed the QLS System (MMA/Kung Fu Concept) and successfully built the QLS School in Basel for the past 10 years. Head coach Marc Oggier's specialization includes Sanda (Chinese Kickboxing with Throws), Wrestling (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Wrestling), Chin Na (Leverage techniques based on Chinese Police), Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
With the holistic training approach, Marc Oggier has developed the QLS (Qian Long System), an MMA and Kung Fu system that trains all aspects of combat as well as behavior and self-control.
